The Syracuse Titans can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Farmington 68-30 at home. The victory was nothing new for Syracuse as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Avery Sanders was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cortnie Barker, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Syracuse pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Farmington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Syracuse will head out on the road to square off against Layton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Layton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 59th, while Syracuse is ranked seventh). As for Farmington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weber at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Weber focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
