The Northeast Jones Tigers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 41-32 win over Mendenhall. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northeast Jones also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeast Jones to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erin Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jefferson has scored at least a third of Northeast Jones' points. Diamond Robinson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Northeast Jones' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for Mendenhall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Northeast Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mendenhall also has no future games currently scheduled.
