Ankeny scaled the state rankings by moving to 15 from 47 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Division 2. The Hawks were able to make move up by losing to Dowling 42-14.

Johnston's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Mike Mahanna threw for 231 and 4 touchdowns and Andrew Heuss had 128 yards receiving. On the ground Jordan Weddington contributed 122 yards. Nick Stitzell helped Johnston's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 62 yards.
