Softball Recap: Roland Park Country's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Roland Park Country barely beat Annapolis Area Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Reds were the clear victors by a 21-11 margin over the Eagles on Monday. With that win, the Reds brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.

Mia Rosengarten was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with six RBI, three runs, and one double. Those runs were her first of the season. Hailey Cohen was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Roland Park Country always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

With the victory, Roland Park Country broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roland Park Country will venture away from home to square off against St. Paul's Girls at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they will head out to face off against Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Annapolis Area Christian will need to watch out since Notre Dame Prep has now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
