St. Augustine Catholic was led to victory by Lourdes Gamez and Megan Callahan. Gamez dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Callahan scored 26 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for her. Carolina Georgelous was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Catalina's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.3 points per game. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
