The TPLS Christian Academy Lions pushed their score all the way to 68 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Lab University Prep on the road and fell 112-68. TPLS Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lab University Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Demarco Reynolds out in front who scored 30 points. The contest was Reynolds' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Michael Strickland, who scored 23 points.
TPLS Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lab University Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
TPLS Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Rosedale Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lab University Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Providence Day at 3:00 p.m. on December 27th.
