Onix Carson Goes Supernova in Vallivue Win
 Starting off the list is Vallivue's  Onix Carson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carson rushed for 247 yards while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2023.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for Vallivue, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Carson's next  contest is against Bishop Kelly on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  performance.

A Season-Best  Effort from  Lincoln Thayn Leads Emmett over Columbia
 Emmett was led to victory by  Lincoln Thayn, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Thayn rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.
 Emmett pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. Thayn and Emmett will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nampa at 7:00  p.m.  on October 18th.

Scheibe Made His Presence Known in Emmett's  35-14 Win
 Keeping Thayn company is  Ryder Scheibe, a fellow Emmett player. He rushed for 106 yards on only 12 carries, and also threw for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
 This season,  Scheibe  has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had seven  passing touchdowns.

 Columbia had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Owen Ovanek sure wasn't going down easily. Ovanek was dynamite, picking up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended a pass.
 Columbia has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record  this season. Ovanek and Columbia will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Skyview  at 7:00  p.m.

Eli Hamilton Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Friday, Bonneville got the W thanks in part to  Eli Hamilton playing the best football he has all season. Hamilton threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns.
 This year,  Hamilton  has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 106.8 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had one  passing touchdown.
