The Williams Bay Bulldogs will challenge the Parkview Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Williams Bay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Wayland Academy on Friday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sarena Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
In other batting news, Williams Bay got a massive performance out of Bayleigh Kozak, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave Kozak a new career-high in doubles (two). Rori Hayes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Williams Bay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Parkview made sure to put some runs up on the board against Randolph on Saturday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over the Rockets. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Vikings' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Kathryn Klassy was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Emma Woodman, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Parkview's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Williams Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Williams Bay took their win against Parkview in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-6 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
