Hagerty has won 11 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Lake Howell has won 11 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. Hagerty will welcome Lake Howell at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Hagerty proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Harmony get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since March 4th.

N. Adkins tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Hagerty saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was R. Foscolo, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Lake Howell had just enough and edged out Trinity Christian Academy 9-8 on Thursday.
Nathaniel Grimm was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Diego Miranda, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Gage Dunigan was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Lake Howell has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 17-2.
Lake Howell's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hagerty has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449. It's a different story for Lake Howell, though, as they've only averaged .347. Will they be able to contain Hagerty's hitters?
Everything went Hagerty's way against Lake Howell in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Hagerty made off with an 11-0 victory. Will Hagerty repeat their success, or does Lake Howell has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
