Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Defenders vs. Parkview Christian Academy Falcons

Heritage Christian has gone 3-0 against Parkview Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Heritage Christian Defenders will look to defend their home court against the Parkview Christian Academy Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Back in December of 2024, Heritage Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away DeMotte Christian. They secured a 60-54 W over the Knights.

Heritage Christian can attribute much of their success to Andrew Regnerus, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds, and Calvin Engelsma, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. The game was Regnerus' sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkview Christian Academy). They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 78-27 blowout they got against Westminster Christian. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Parkview Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Heritage Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
