After losing to Pigeon Forge the last time they met, Karns decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beavers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Tigers on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Karns now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Pigeon Forge, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Karns will face off against Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pigeon Forge, they will venture away from home to challenge South Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
