Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rolling Meadows). Everything went their way against the Fenton Bison on Friday as Rolling Meadows made off with a 16-1 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Schneider, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Nuccio, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Rolling Meadows pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fenton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolling Meadows will venture away from home to challenge Glenbard North at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Fenton, they will head out to face off against Streamwood at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
