While Hill's victory against James Lick wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Comets 16-15. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for James Lick, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hill will venture away from home to square off against Yerba Buena at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aztec Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.57 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for James Lick, they will head out on the road to take on Overfelt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.83 runs per game on average), something the Comets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
