The Odyssey Charter School Titans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past Halifax Academy with points to spare, taking the game 38-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Odyssey Charter School also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Odyssey Charter School found their leader in underclassman Talyssa Hilaire, who scored 15 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hilaire has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Christiana Patterson, who scored ten points along with five assists.
Odyssey Charter School has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Halifax Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
Odyssey Charter School will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bayside at 7:00 p.m. As for Halifax Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Gulf Coast HEAT at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Gulf Coast HEAT will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
