Maud won the last time they faced Avery and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Maud Cardinals strolled past the Avery Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Maud's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Avery, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Maud will square off against Bowie at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Maud has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Avery, they will head out on the road to take on New Diana at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Avery is facing New Diana at the right time seeing as New Diana is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
