After three games on the road, Texhoma is heading back home. The Texhoma Red Devils and the Felt Bulldogs will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Felt took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Texhoma, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Texhoma beat Laverne 35-28. Given Texhoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Laverne is ranked 291st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Felt came up short against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] last Saturday and fell 49-37. Felt has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Texhoma's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Felt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Texhoma against Felt in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 61-24 win. Will Texhoma repeat their success, or does Felt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
