St. Patrick got themselves on the board against Tylertown on Thursday, but Tylertown never followed suit. They blew past the Tylertown Chiefs 17-0. The Fighting Irish have beaten the Chiefs the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Chiefs has come to flipping the script.

BC Stoddard was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasper Moran, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

St. Patrick was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .615. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

St. Patrick pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tylertown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
