The Dakota Indians lost to the Pearl City Wolves back in January, but the Dakota Indians didn't allow the Pearl City Wolves the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Dakota sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-39 win over Pearl City.
Leading Dakota to victory were Finley Banks and Peyton Woodsmall. Banks scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals, while Woodsmall scored 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Banks has scored at least 25% of Dakota's points.
The win got Dakota back to even at 2-2. As for Pearl City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Dakota's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Byron at 10:00 a.m. on November 25th. Pearl City's road trip will continue as they head out to face River Ridge/Scales Mound at 11:30 a.m. on November 25th. River Ridge/Scales Mound's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Pearl City's offense will have their work cut out for Pearl City.
