Chanhassen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lauren Arnold, who scored 19 points. The matchup was Arnold's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lyla Hentges, who scored 17 points.
Chanhassen now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Waconia, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Chanhassen will take on Shakopee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shakopee is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Waconia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
