The Ridgeview Christian Crusaders lost against the Grace Christian Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ridgeview Christian was outmatched by the Warriors on the road and fell 54-21. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Warriors are ranked 122nd).
Lucy Wells continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grace Christian, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wells has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Harper, who scored eight points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Ridgeview Christian dropped their record down to 4-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Grace Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Blue Ridge Christian the next time they take the court. Grace Christian will head out to face Blue Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Ridgeview Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
