Basketball Game Preview: Milwaukee School of Languages Hawks vs. Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes

The Milwaukee School of Languages Hawks will square off against the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Milwaukee School of Languages' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.

Milwaukee School of Languages will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Milwaukee Vincent, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Everything went Milwaukee School of Languages' way against Milwaukee Vincent on Monday as Milwaukee School of Languages made off with a 66-46 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Milwaukee School of Languages' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Manning Shareef, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 22 rebounds. Shareef has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Aj,(Amaris) Hunt, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards.

Milwaukee School of Languages smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Whitefish Bay entered their match against Nicolet on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Whitefish Bay took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nicolet. While losing is never fun, the Blue Dukes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Knights are ranked 12th).

Milwaukee School of Languages has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.3 points. As for Whitefish Bay, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.
