Hokes Bluff had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Oneonta Redskins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2018.

Hokes Bluff's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oneonta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8-1 record this season.
