Lyons entered their tilt with Lockport on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Porters. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lyons easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9.

Lyons' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-8. As for Lockport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyons will square off against Hinsdale Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lockport, they will take on Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
