The Keystone Heights Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their 18th straight loss. They fell 35-26 to Santa Fe. Keystone Heights was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Santa Fe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalie Chohan led the charge by scoring ten points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Deziah Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Keystone Heights' defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Santa Fe, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
Keystone Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Fe will take on the Rams at TBD on Wednesday. Eastside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Raiders in Florida (the Rams are ranked 187th, while the Raiders are ranked 404th).
