The game was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Holy Rosary Academy was outscored by Tanalian in the second.
Tanalian was led to victory by Malachi Fowler and Erik McGee. Fowler scored 18 points, while McGee scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fowler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ray Chmiel, who scored ten points.
Holy Rosary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tanalian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Holy Rosary Academy will square off against Tanalian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tanalian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Tri-Valley on January 15th.
