Sweet Home had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Siuslaw on Saturday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 17-3 win. The contest marked the Huskies' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Sweet Home's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Siuslaw, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
