It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Belle Chasse Cardinals had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Parkway 43-16 at home. The victory was nothing new for Belle Chasse as they're now sitting on four straight.
Belle Chasse has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 7-3 record. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 West Jefferson and 2-8 Landry-Walker (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.8% over those games). As for Parkway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.
Belle Chasse will take on Destrehan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Destrehan is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Parkway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
