The Trotwood-Madison Rams kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 45-33 to Lima Senior.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lima Senior to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maisie Strawser, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Gipson, who scored 3 points along with 14 rebounds.
Trotwood-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lima Senior, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trotwood-Madison will take on Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lima Senior, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Bowling Green at 12:30 p.m.
