Lake Worth's loss came despite strong showings from Christina Bell and Alexandra Reiman. Bell scored 15 points along with 3 steals, while Reiman scored 8 points along with 5 steals. Bell scored a full 51.7% of Lake Worth's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Leonard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lake Worth, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.
Leonard will be playing in front of their home fans against Forest Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Worth, they will head out on the road to face off against Boynton Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
