On Thursday Houston take on Oakhaven at 7:00 PM. Houston have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Oakhaven are surely hoping to exploit.
It was all tied up at the half for Houston and Cordova last Friday, but Houston stepped up in the second half. Houston came out on top against Cordova by a score of 21-13.
Meanwhile, Oakhaven have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything came up roses for them against Washington as the team secured a 38-0 win. Oakhaven were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Houston to 6-1 and Oakhaven to 2-4. The Oakhaven defense got after the quarterback against Washington to the tune of seven sacks, so Houston's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
