It was a good run, but St. Johns unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lansing Catholic Cougars by a score of 6-5. The Redwings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

St. Johns' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lansing Catholic, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

St. Johns has already played their next match (against Williamston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lansing Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Portland on the 5th.
