The Splendora Wildcats suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 75-50 walloping at the hands of Hamshire-Fannett. Splendora has struggled against Hamshire-Fannett recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Kelley, who scored 12 points. Peyton Whaley was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.
Splendora will head out on the road to square off against Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Livingston is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they will be playing at home against Hargrave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hargrave is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
