On Thursday, The Alpine Bucks never let their opponents score. They blew past Tornillo 43-0 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Alpine.
Logan Smith was his usual excellent self, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown. Smith was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards. Jj Victorino made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Alpine is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Tornillo, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Alpine will head out on the road to face off against Crane at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Crane has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 382 points over their last eight games. As for Tornillo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Compass Academy at 6:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
