The Hesston Swathers entered their tilt with the Garden Plain Owls with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Hesston blew past Garden Plain 48-26. That's another feather in the cap for Hesston, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Hesston was led to victory by  Adrian Hernandez and  Reed Friesen.  Hernandez  scored 18 points, while  Friesen  scored 21 points along with 8  rebounds and 4  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Hernandez has scored at least 25% of Hesston's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karter Gonzalez, who  scored 3 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Hesston's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Garden Plain, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
