North Reading never let their opponents score on Sunday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Medfield Warriors. Considering the Hornets have won eight matches by more than seven runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

North Reading's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Medfield, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

North Reading will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Monday.
