Eastern has gone a perfect 4-0 against North Bullitt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Eastern will look to defend their home field against North Bullitt at 6:00 p.m.

Eastern is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Assumption just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, North Bullitt brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Southern a 16-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won nine in a row.

Amree Hammons made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Addison Ferguson and Paige Brooks did most of the damage at the plate: Ferguson scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2, while Brooks went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most runs Ferguson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gabby Coy, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

North Bullitt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .781. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for North Bullitt, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Eastern took their victory against North Bullitt in their previous matchup on Saturday by a conclusive 11-0 score. Does Eastern have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Bullitt turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
