Etowah extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 22-9. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oneonta Redskins a 10-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Redskins back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

As for Oneonta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in March.
On Oneonta's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briley Aguirre, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Looking ahead, Etowah will be taking part in a tournament against American Christian Academy at 4:10 p.m. on Friday. As for Oneonta, they will be playing at home against Pennington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
