While Bearden put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Howland. Bearden put the hurt on Howland with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Bearden's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Howland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bearden will square off against William Blount at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. William Blount will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bearden surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Austintown-Fitch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
