Willard has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. The Willard Tigers and the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
Last Saturday, Willard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-45 to Olathe North.
Meanwhile, Logan-Rogersville entered their tilt with Branson with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Logan-Rogersville escaped with a win on Thursday against Branson by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49.
Willard's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Logan-Rogersville, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.
Willard beat Logan-Rogersville 70-63 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Willard repeat their success, or does Logan-Rogersville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
