While losing is never fun, North Raleigh Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while Grace Christian is ranked first).
Sarah Strong continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grace Christian, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 18 rebounds. Strong is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Icyss Storm, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
North Raleigh Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-13. As for Grace Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Raleigh Christian Academy and Cary Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Grace Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Riverside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. Riverside Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
