The Kingston Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the DeSoto Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Kingston was the victim of a rough 47-26 loss at the hands of Grandview.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to DeSoto, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were beaten by Jersey 59-32 on Monday.
Kingston bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.5 points per game. As for DeSoto, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Kingston was dealt a bruising 40-9 defeat at the hands of DeSoto in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Kingston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
