They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mountain Island Charter 85-58 at home. Austin Moran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 7 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was John Shields, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Corvian Community by a score of 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Lincoln Charter has suffered yet this season.
Community School of Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Lincoln Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
Things could have been worse for Community School of Davidson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-53 loss to Lincoln Charter when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
