The Rosamond Roadrunners posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They blew past Kern Valley 80-30 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Rosamond who now have three in a row.
Andrew Arredondo was his usual excellent self, scoring 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Fabian Robles was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Kern Valley lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hunter Watts, who scored four points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Carver, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Rosamond is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Kern Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will take on Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Kern Valley, they will be playing at home against California City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
