  Karlie Morrish was a standout: she scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shaylynn Thurston, who  went 4-for-5 with two  triples, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Kingston came tearing into  Saturday's  matchup with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by  a  17-4 margin over the Hatchets.
 Owendale-Gagetown's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Kingston, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Owendale-Gagetown suffered a grim  19-0 defeat to Kingston  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Can Owendale-Gagetown avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
