Pulaski County were successful in their last outing against Hidden Valley, and they didn't afford Hidden Valley any payback this time around. Pulaski County made easy work of Hidden Valley on Friday and carried off a 42-21 victory. Followers of Pulaski County probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
The contest started off well for Pulaski County, whose offense put up 28 first-half points. Meanwhile, Hidden Valley couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. Although Pulaski County wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The win bumped their record up to 6-1. The defeat dropped Hidden Valley's record to 1-5.
Next week Pulaski County take on Christiansburg at Christiansburg High School at 7:00 PM. Pulaski County are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Christiansburg are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses. Hidden Valley will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Christiansburg at Bogle Field (Cave Spring MS) in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
