The Hilliard Red Flashes will square off against the Wolfson Wolfpack at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Hilliard got the win against ED White by a conclusive 7-1. The win continues a trend for the Red Flashes in their matchups with the Commanders: they've now won four in a row.
Luca D' Astoli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Jacob Cooper and David Hern did most of the damage at the plate: Cooper got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run, while Hern went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Cooper a new career-high. Austin Thompson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wolfson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Stanton 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolfpack have posted since February 17th.
Aiden Hallowes looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Wolfson let Jaydin Morrissey and Cam Wiggins run wild. Morrissey went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base, while Wiggins went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
The victory got Wolfson back to even at 6-6. As for Hilliard, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.
