It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bolles Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Bishop Kenny 45-14 at home. Considering Bolles has won four matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Emmett Grzebin had a dynamite game for Bolles, rushing for 219 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Grzebin really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Neal, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Bolles pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.8 points per game. As for Bishop Kenny, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Bolles will take on Raines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Raines is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. Bishop Kenny does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
