Softball Recap: Gilbert Has No Trouble Against White Knoll

Gilbert lost to White Knoll back in February of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Indians were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Timberwolves. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Gilbert and bumps their season record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for White Knoll, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Coming up, Gilbert will take on South Aiken at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Knoll, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Irmo at 6:00 p.m. The Yellow Jackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.31 runs per game on average), something the Timberwolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
