Jefferson has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Lone Peak Big Horns at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will be strutting in after a win while Lone Peak will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Manhattan, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win.
Jefferson found their leader in underclassman Hannah Stevens, who scored 11 points along with five assists and four steals. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. MacKenzie Layng was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-24, which was the final score in Lone Peak's tilt against Shields Valley on December 1st.
Jefferson's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Lone Peak, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
