Plainfield South strolled past Plainfield Central with points to spare, taking the game 75-57. Winning may never get old, but Plainfield South sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Plainfield South's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Demi Page led the charge by scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Destynia Mcgruder, who scored 16 points.
Plainfield South now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Plainfield Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainfield South will challenge Glenbard East at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenbard East will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Plainfield Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Joliet West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
